- AVENUES OF SERVICE -
The Paradise Rotary Club is broken
down into four avenues of service. Each avenue is under the direction
of a Director who is responsible for the supervision and coordination
of committees appointed for particular aspects of the service area.
Following is a summary of each area.
Club Service
Club Service focuses on the internal operation of the club. Committees
include membership, attendance, club bulletin, programs, website development,
fellowship activities, etc.
Vocational
Service
This area of focus devises and carries out plans to assist the members
to engage in Vocational Service projects and in the daily practice of
Vocational Service in business or professional life. Committees include
vocational talks, Career Day, student of the month, etc.
Community
Service
A major emphasis in our club is participating in activities that will
help our community. This is accomplished through many activities, including;
Make a Difference Day, dictionary project, highway clean-up, four way
speech contest, etc.
International
Service
Having an impact on the world is an important part of Rotary International.
This avenue of service include student exchange, The Rotary Foundation,
Camp Royal, Polio Plus, etc.
